This is a unique event which only takes place once due to the lack of vines we have to be able to do this event more than once so come join us on the 8 of February!
Come put your hands to work and learn how to prune as well as discovering some of the delicious ManzWines!
This will be a unique experience where you will have the following:
14h00 - Reception and explanation of the program.
14h15 - Visit to the Museum, Winery and Barrel Room
15h00 - Start of the Pruning Workshop (in the Barrel Room)
- - Introduction to the vine and its vegetative cycle;
- - Pruning objectives;
- - Vine management systems;
- - Pruning stages;
- - Pruning systems;
- - Distribution of material and introduction of safety requirements during pruning.
- - Pruning practice
16h00 - Tasting of 6 ManzWine wines, accompanied by a cold cuts board, Mafra bread and olive oil.
Note: This experience will only be offered in Portuguese. Children up to the age of 6 are free, and children between 6 and 17 have a 50% discount.
