The visit begins in a small museum space at Quinta do Bomfim that tells the story of the family and also includes a visit to the old cellar built in 1896 and also the cellar where all the barrels are kept. There is just so much history in this winery you will be amazed! The tasting can be done outside with a panoramic view over the vineyards and the river.
In the Specialist tasting, you will enjoy four selected wines: starting with the Altano White Reserve Douro DOC, followed by the Quinta do Vesúvio Red Douro DOC. Also, experience the Quinta do Vesúvio 1995 Vintage and finish with the sophisticated Dow’s 30 Year Old Tawny. It’s a great opportunity to explore the richness of Douro wines.
